Squishy paint

Enriched children: squishy paint activityFriday’s activity is a simple one- good for those who are exhausted from the week (like me!) but still a blast for the kids!  All you’ll need is a large Ziploc bag (preferably. If not, use a small one) and paint.

Let your children choose as many or as few colours of paint as they’d like, and if they’re old enough, squeeze some paint into the bag.  Squeeze a little bit or a lot- it’s all up to you!  Secure the bag with some tape and you have your own sensory bag!

We taped ours up to the window and drove cars through the paint after also mixing it up with our fingers.  What I love about this, is you get to explore with mixing paint, feeling it, running objects through- it without the mess!

And if you are missing the mess, open up the bag and splash the colours onto some paper and I’m sure you’ll have some pretty cool artwork to share.  You could also consider adding glitter, gems, beads or whatever else you have on hand to the bag for some extra texture.
