"A snail" with painted rocks and shells

Our family loves the beach- it's our go to outing on a rainy day, cloudy day, sunny day- you get the picture!  Over the years, we've collected our fair share of rocks and shells and today I thought it would be fun to pull out the paint and see what we could create!

This is all fairly straightforward.  Paint. Shells. Rocks.  Let your kids go crazy! Paint outdoors or indoors- wherever inspiration may strike.  My oldest son decided to make a snail with a large shell and rock.  We've had so many snails around our yard lately so it was neat to watch him create a snail with simply a rock and shell.

This is a simple activity which gives you those extra moments to have open-ended conversations and intentional moments together!
